My nutrition journey with Liza has changed the way I think about the food I put into my body. I have always struggled to have a healthy relationship with food since I suffered from an eating disorder in my late teens to early 20s. Although as I headed toward my 30s I no longer suffered, I still had an unhealthy relationship with food and still saw carbs as ‘bad’ as well as a lack of balance or control over what I ate.
Training with Liza has made me stronger and fitter however my diet did not change which really slowed down any progress I was making. Liza educated me on macros and showed me a healthy way to track what I ate to ensure I, as a vegan, am eating enough protein on a daily basis (I wasn’t). As soon as I started tracking my macros my body responded very quickly and leading up to my wedding after back surgery I was really noticing a huge difference in my shape. Having back surgery meant I was unable to train however, tracking macros along with having a balanced diet saw me reach my wedding day goals and feel bloody amazing about my figure.
Liza has not only educated me on how important macros can be for getting everything out of your training and goals. She has helped me develop a healthy relationship with food which I never thought could be possible”

I started nutritional coaching with Liza in around September 2021 all in a bid to get healthier and prepare for my wedding. Liza worked out two calorie targets to help me hit my goals. One was based on a higher activity level, and one on a lower level, depending on my week.
I think it’s clear now that I was not eating enough calories in a day and at first, I was surprised how many calories I should eat.
Liza introduced me to a group of other members all of which were on their own nutritional journey. This was really helpful as we encouraged each other to keep tracking and offer tips and advice. Liza was really clued up and on hand to give advice where needed. It was a non-judgemental space which needed and allowed me to be honest with my tracking.
I enjoy a drink at the weekend and a ‘treat’ at the weekend. I could still do this and never felt I had to go without.
Liza also assisted with macronutrients and tailormade a ratio of fats, proteins and carbohydrates to accelerate my success. This wasnt easy but again, Liza was on hand to help and offer products that were of benefit to my goals.
I can feel the difference in my energy levels both during and not during workouts, and most importantly- for me- I can feel a difference in my clothes and appearance and feel much more confident.
I will continue to track and manage macros as it has become routine now the best thing that has worked for me!

I first started training with Liza about 7 months ago. As a mum of two young children and with a busy job, I found I was starting to neglect my own health and fitness. I felt tired constantly and my goal was to be able to do more without constantly feeling exhausted.
Liza has been great, she’s tailored each session to suit my energy levels and gradually helped me build stamina and core strength. She has also been giving me information on diet and healthy choices where small changes can make a big difference. As a result, I can now easily tackle the local soft play scene with my toddlers, crawling through the tunnels, up the climbing frames and down the slide with energy left to be able to do some cooking and even stay awake at work the next day!
I could have joined the gym but probably wouldn’t ever have turned up to it. Liza addresses things holistically, she looks at your goals and puts together a plan for you as an individual. She clearly loves what she does and I look forward to my workouts, the best ‘me’ time in the week.

I cannot speak highly enough of Liza, I had been thinking about doing PT sessions for years but have been delaying it as wasn’t sure what to expect.
After meeting Liza during one of her Insanity sessions I could tell straight away I would be comfortable working with her. Liza really cares about what I want to achieve, she helps me stay positive and really motivates me during each session, as well as providing me with workout plans for me to do at the gym myself.
For someone who was not confident about equipment or even what to do at the gym, Liza was perfect for educating me on this and pushing me to do the best I can every time. And the best bit is it works!! Trouser size is down and upper body strength continuously improving!
Her sessions have a real variety to them so no chance of getting bored or repetitive, I enjoy every session no matter how much they hurt!!
I definitely recommend her to anyone thinking about getting a PT.

Training with Liza is great!
She has been encouraging and supportive towards me meeting my own personal goals. During our sessions, Liza has encouraged me to try new workouts which have kept me motivated and on track.
The workouts are challenging but they never lose the fun element which has enabled me to enjoy exercise so much more than I ever have done before. Liza has supported my quest to lose weight for my upcoming wedding and she has taken me right out of my comfort zone.
If someone told me this time a year ago that I’d be about to complete another Tough Mudder, or that I’d be regularly running and lifting weights, I never would have believed them.
Although I have lost inches working with Liza, I have gained so much confidence towards being happy with the way I look and towards developing my own health and fitness. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending training with Liza; my ongoing journey with her has been better than I ever would have imagined.

I heard about Liza through a friend at my Thursday spin class (which Liza teaches and is awesome!) I had often thought about getting a PT but always felt a bit intimidated. Liza fitted me in straight away and made me feel right at ease from my first session. I was stuck in a rut attending the same classes each week, and just wanted some good advice and a personalised work out plan that suited me.
I see Liza once a week and started seeing results within a few weeks. It’s been over a year now and I feel so much better in myself. My body shape has certainly changed for the better. It took me a while to adjust to it, but the positive comments from friends and family made the hard work worth it!
My initial goal was purely aesthetic-to be honest I just wanted to look good in my bikini for an upcoming holiday. However, now that I have achieved this, my mindset has changed. Now I want to become fitter!
I’ve taken on challenges that I might have thought about doing, but never actually ‘got around to.’ I’ve started running park run once a week, am about to take on my third tough mudder (with a fourth one on the cards!) and tackle my second judgement day run! I’ve also made some great friends through training.
Liza will bend over backwards for her clients. She has created food plans for me, personalised gym plans and has even been able to help me outside of my session time if I am really struggling with my nutrition or training. We do stats every four weeks, which tell me my inch loss, muscle percentage, body fat percentage, resting metabolic rate and other important stats that help me with training and nutrition. I know not all personal trainers offer the same service.
I look forward to my session every week and although it’s a tough hour, I always come out with a smile on my face.

There’s only one word to describe Liza … PHENOMENAL! I honestly can’t remember when I first started training with her, having attended her fabulous classes at the Nuffield Health Club (where she stood out as both instructor AND teacher, noting and guiding technique throughout!).
Totally dedicated and utterly professional, Liza is combined personal training, instruction, guidance and mega-motivation in one dynamic and dedicated professional lady! She is a total inspiration and drives me to work harder and aim higher than I have ever done – even when I think I can’t do more and plead for mercy! I’ve even signed up for my first ever Tough Mudder … not quite sure how she persuaded me that it was a good idea, yet another example of her ‘Can do’ and ‘Everything is possible if you work for it’ philosophy!
As my ‘day job’ is unpredictable in its pattern, I have never found a coach who is able to accommodate diary changes in the way that Liza does, she is always flexible and generous with her time. Each session that I have with Liza is meticulously planned and unique, she responds to individual requests and is absolutely passionate about fitness herself, making her an amazing role model. Think she knows my body better than I do!
She is a tremendous role model in both fitness (and health, sharing her own fabulous recipe books and other well-being guidance freely) and most importantly, consistently checks in online and on a weekly call to connect directly with clients. I can’t recommend her highly enough as a coach and also a class instructor. I’m absolutely staying with Liza and Forzafitness – she’s most definitely a ‘Forza Nature!’

Well, what can I say… Been a PT client of Liza’s for nearly 2 years. What a journey I have been on, both emotionally and physically and Liza has been there for me throughout.
I was getting stuck in a rut it’s fair to say with regard to progressing and doing the same old routines. Discovered Liza and not looked back. She is inspirational in herself, which has inspired me to set personal goals and achieve them. Have done sporting events over the last 2 years, that I thought I would never accomplish – 100-mile bike rides and 50km Ultramarathon.
Liza’s commitment to achieving your goals never waivers, and she is there for you to give you the encouragement and grit you need to get through (even when she is not physically with you as well – can always hear her words of wisdom when times get hard to push me through).

I met Liza at a gym Boxercise session two and a half years ago. She instantly worked on my position and punches, she always has an eye on everyone making sure we’re happy and getting the most out of our gym classes.
I had been looking for a personal trainer to take me to the next level of my fitness and after a couple of personal training sessions instantly knew Liza would be there all the way encouraging me to reach my targets. The exercises and routines are adapted to suit me helping improve my strength/cardio.
Liza is very supportive she really cares about everyone, their progress and personal goals. Liza introduced me to long-distance trail running and obstacle events such as Tough Mudder, which I love participating in with her as well as a team with the other Forza Fitness groupies!
Liza soon became a good friend, it’s always fun to catch up with the team on nights out and more recently doing online live virtual classes Liza has set up for us to do together until we can all get back to the gym, team events and personal training sessions.

I asked for help from Liza over 6 months ago as I am attempting my first Ironman this year.
She has set me up with everything I need; diet tips, workout plans, motivation in fact the whole package – if you are prepared to commit to the plan, look no further than Forza Performance for great results!
I have lost 14 kg (2.2 stone), my FTP has increased from 215 to just over 300, I can run further than ever before and seem to break my own records every month – all down to the partnership I have with Liza.
